Welcome to Bank Mill Nurseries

Bank Mill Nurseries and Visitor Centre is situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and adjacent to a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The beautiful Solway Coastline is just 200 metres away.

Whether you come for a tour of the Butterfly and Reptile House, the Nature Reserve or just pop in to the Dunes Coffee shop for a hot drink and a slice of freshly baked cake you can be assured of a warm welcome from everyone at Bank Mill.

With a view to extending the Nursery Retail Sales season, Bank Mill Nurseries diversified a few years ago to incorporate the Tropical Butterfly House and Reptilia.

The following year the Coffee Shop/Restaurant was opened and much work was carried out on the Nature Reserve to open it to the public. The following year the Education wing was opened which is adjacent to the Dunes providing much needed seating at busy times.

Apart from the Nature Reserve, Bank Mill is now an all weather attraction.

Parts of the Nature Reserve and all internal areas are wheel chair friendly.

Making a visit attractive for all ages.
